Diplom-Informatiker
My diploma thesis at TU Dortmund in 2008 covered connectionist systems — neural networks, machine learning, cognitive neuroscience. Theory back then.
What followed were 15 years of practice: enterprise architectures, scalable backends, complex system landscapes — and the insight that solid engineering and AI are not opposites, but a natural combination.
My approach: I don't integrate LLMs as black boxes, but as precise, deterministic tools — held to the same quality standards I've applied to every codebase since 2009.
Independent conception of production-grade enterprise architectures for evaluating state-of-the-art AI integrations. Focus on the secure, deterministic integration of LLMs into classical backend systems.
Architectural responsibility for scalable enterprise platforms. Architecture of asynchronous REST interfaces (Node.js/Express) with a focus on data flow optimization ("Data Readiness") for data-driven and future AI-powered workflows. Establishing robust engineering standards (CI/CD, Playwright, Security Hardening).
Planning and realization of responsive landing pages, microsites, and interactive rich ads for SMEs and agency clients. Optimization of performance and cross-browser compatibility. Strategic consulting regarding UX and web architectures.
Development of dynamic advertising formats and microsites. Introduction of reusable banner modules and automation of build and deployment processes.
Management of enterprise web projects, including requirements analysis, architecture design, and implementation coordination. Introduction of agile methods and supervision of complex rollouts in multinational teams.
Porting and continuous development of a core product in C#/.NET (Instacount®), including performance tuning and reporting with SQL and Crystal Reports.
Diploma Thesis: Connectionist systems in natural and artificial intelligence as well as in cognitive neurosciences – structures, learning, and abilities.
